1. What was I doing 10 years ago?-Lets see, I was 17 and probably working at Wendy's since I graduated half a year early. Just getting ready to go to college in the Fall and spending as much time as possible with Ben since he would be leaving for a mission at the end of the summer.

2. 5 things on my to-do list today?-Take Riley out to breakfast and to the park (check), spend a ridiculous amount of time on facebook which I just started yesterday (do I really have time for this facebook thing? It IS fun.), go to book club tonight, exercise, work on a paper that I am dreading.

3. What snacks do I enjoy?-Anything "bready" (muffins, bread, doughnuts, etc.), Diet Coke (although I haven't had any for 12 days and don't HAVE to have it anymore), and chocolate almonds are the best and it ticks me off when theatres don't have them.

4. What would I do if I were suddenly a billionaire?-Gee wiz what a depressing question since THAT will never happen! But if it did I would pay off every scrap of debt of my own and of my family, and what the heck I'd pay off the debt of all my friends too. I would build the house we are planning on building anyway, and I would still want to work as a nurse but I would definately travel. And I'd go shopping for Riley and get him totally decked out in some rockin' clothes. Of course Ben and I would get decked out too. Oh yah and I would buy a plane for Ben. He's always wanted to fly. Oh yah and I would get my teeth whitened, and Ben's teeth whitened.

5. 3 bad habits?-
1. After every statement I make to Ben or Riley, I say "kay?" just to make sure they have heard what I have said and understand. Certain loved ones (Ben) have often forgotten things I've asked them to remember, so I feel it's necessary for him to confirm that he's heard me. This get's passed on to Riley, too. Now everytime Riley sais something to Ben or I, it ends with "kay?" For example, "Don't kiss my cheeks mommy, kay?"
2. I pop my toes and also Ben's and Riley's toes.
3. I spend time on the internet when I should be doing homework!

6.5 places I have lived?-
Idaho Falls, Idaho
Omaha, Nebraska
Ephraim, Utah
Moroni, Utah
Salt Lake City, Utah

7. 5 jobs I've had?-
-Thistle chopper on my Uncle Dean's farm.
-Ditch cleaner when my Dad was water master of Fountain Green.
-Infant Turkey mutilator (I know this sounds wierd, but in Moroni there is a Turkey Factory, and when the turkey eggs hatched, we had to take the baby turkeys and cut off their toes, pull the little things out of the tops of their head that would become those read wobbly things, and snip their beeks. This was all to protect them from eachother as they grew up on the turkey farms. It was also fun to throw the little fluffballs in the air and catch them.)
-Drafter at an architecture firm.
-Walmart cashier (the best!)

8. 5 thing people don't know about me.-
-I got a degree in Building Construction and Drafting from Snow College in 2000.
-I used to care a LOT what people thought of me, and was just devastated if I thought someone didn't like me. Now I don't care that much :)
-I am a control FREAK and need all the answers to everything RIGHT NOW!!!
-I spent about 8 hours every week last summer taking care of the lawn at my Town home complex, and plan to do it again this year. It's the best: exercise, tan, and money!
-I will only jog at night and refuse to go during the day because HELLO do I want people to see stuff jiggling???

I tag anyone and everyone!

Company Party

Saturday night we went to Lonestar Steakhouse and had a great time hanging out with Ben's co-workers, and meeting their wives and also some of the "big guys" in the company. Ben works at Woodcraft, which was recently purchased by Burton Lumber from Salt Lake City. This has turned out to be a great thing! So many of Ben's buds from work were there, as well as some of the owners and managers from Salt Lake. Ben won $25 to Cabella's and I won
$50 to Cabella's. Sweet! The food was great and we were very entertained by Angela Nuttal (girl in the solid blue shirt sitting across from me). I'm glad that we got to go and have a little fun!

Ben is probably going to kill me for posting this picture. But trust me, this is the G-rated picture. The other ones show a LOT of leg. I just thought this was so funny...two boys in the bubble bath, splashing around and giggling. That's right, they were giggling. There is nothing wrong with acting like a child when you have one of your own. That's the great thing about having one of your own. You have to connect with them, which sometimes means letting loose and acting like a toddler. Ben does this just fine :) Gotta love them both! p.s. Aren't Ben's muscles yummy?

Okay, so the other night a few of us went to see the Utah Flash. I actually had no idea who the Utah Flash were. Turns out they are a basketball team. I think I watched all of about 2 minutes of the actual game. The rest of the time was spent chatting and making fun of the cheerleaders, and eating the Bajio's food which was catered. That's right...catered. My brother-in-law Kade was able to get us all tickets for a box seat that included catered food, and turns out it was one of my favorite restaurants! Afterwards we went and porked out on ice cream, and then went and enjoyed a nice tour of Kade and Ciara's finished spec home. It was so nice, and anyone out
there who needs a house, I know a house that needs a family! As you can see by the middle picture, us girls have no shame. As you can also see by the picture of Kade inhaling half a cup of ice cream, he DEFINATELY has no shame!!! ANYWAYS, it was a good 'ol time, that's for sure!

We had SO much fun Saturday playing in the snow! We borrowed Roger's four wheeler and went to our land (I like the sound of that!) where Ben pulled us around on sleds. Pretty much everyone who took a turn had the pleasure of flying off the sled and getting a nice face wash. Yep, I had my turn too. Right after I flew off my sled (and rolled over my little brother Ben) I wondered why in the world did I bother doing my hair and makeup that morning. When your head rolls around in the snow, that stuff doesn't seem to matter anymore :) I tried to convince Ben on several occasions to get off the four wheeler and let me pull him on a sled, but he wasn't interested! How can you not be interested in being flung around in the snow! I think he enjoyed watching us and maneuvering the four wheeler so that we would fall off the sleds. The first picture is of my two little brothers, Ben and Sam. That's Riley crying under his scarf. If you zoom in you can see he's pleading with his eyes for rescue! As you can see by the last picture, the snow was very deep and Ben is working to get the four wheeler unstuck. Can you believe that the next day there was a huge snow storm that added a ton more snow! We have been pummeled this winter with snow, which is fun to see but a pain to drive in.
